Thank You Silvertone Guitars for Making a Difference

Here's the story of a wonderful donation from Silvertone guitars to our program as told by TOC's Development Director and guitar instructor Todd Greene. Thank you to Silvertone and all of our incredible supporters for making a difference in the lives of all our students, including the ones in this video. Want to see the difference first hand? TOC Market - Carla's Story
The Outreach Center's TOC Market was designed to help those in need in a one on one environment, focusing on the elderly, single moms, and the working poor. Market clients are admitted into the program by an application process and are required to attend classes on things like healthly living, finances, parenting, etc. Here's a video of one of those clients, Carla. She is a great example of how the Market assists the elderly. Carla lives in Valdese. Both she and her husband are cancer survivors. Carla had breast cancer a few years ago and her husband is currently battling lung cancer. Both have also been diagnosed with COPD so breathing, like paying medical bills, is especially hard. The money they save by shopping in the Market goes towards those bills.
